When Ben woke up early in the morning, he felt a burden in his spirit, but because he could not express this burden using words, he began to pray in the spirit. He prayed in tongues for about 30 minutes, until he felt the burden lift.

Ben got to the office that morning to discover there was a big conspiracy against him. Someone had submitted a terrible complaint against his department, and it was clear to him that he was the target. Something similar made his colleague lose his job the previous month. Immediately Ben got wind of the situation, he understood why the Holy Spirit wanted him to build spiritual might early that morning; he also knew he was going to come out of that situation victorious. That was exactly what happened; his accuser was the one who lost her job.

As you go into today, remember that the Holy Spirit helps you in the place of prayer. FRUIT OF REPENTANCE

Steve used to steal a lot; he stole mobile phones, tablets, and cash from unsuspecting acquaintances and church members. When Steve repented, he cried through that night because he saw himself in the light of God’s reality. He now knew that he had wasted a great part of his youth; being a church instrumentalist but never really following Jesus. The phone he was currently using was stolen. He knew instantly that he could not keep using that phone. He had to return the phone, and this was very difficult for him to do, but he depended on God’s grace and did it. He later wrote out the names of all those he could remember stealing from; he had 16 names. Although Steve could no longer return what he had stolen from all of them, he promised to pay back in cash what he had stolen. Many who were Christians refused to collect his money and forgave him. One of the men he stole from was so impressed by his genuine repentance that he offered Steve a job. This was how Steve got a good job.

When a person repents, this means he decides to stop doing the evil things that he used to do, and he cuts off from the benefits of such. This is a function of grace.

Do you know that the earth is growing old? And this is showing through certain natural disasters that do not usually happen? Anything in this earth grows old with time. God didn’t make things to be this way. The entire creation (including us humans) was placed under the bondage of decay (corruption causing things to grow old) and the only way out of this bondage is for the sons of God to be revealed and to be manifested as such. This will fully happen during the resurrection of the dead. But we can see first fruits of these things now because of the Holy Spirit who empowers us to walk in the divine nature while in this body of flesh. DEVOTIONAL AUDIO: http://bit.ly/1TmcJan

We've seen from our previous studies that Christmas is not just a season of merriment but it's a season of the celebration of the most important man that has ever worked upon the surface of the earth.

Usually, in a birthday celebration, it is customary to present gifts to the celebrant. This was exactly what the wise men did when they found Jesus. They didn't just celebrate Him; they presented Him with gold, frankincense and myrrh.

There are three important gifts you can present to Jesus.

The first is your life. For this reason He was born, to reconcile us to God (see 2 Cor 5:18). He became the Son of man so that we might become the sons of God. Every other thing is meaningless if we don't first make Him our Lord and savior. If you have not made Christ Lord of all, you have not made Him Lord at all. He should be the Lord of every aspect of your life and not just some aspects.

The second gift we can give to Jesus is to lead others to accept Him as Savior. It gives Him much pleasure when one sinner repents and turns to Him (see Luke 5:7). The third gift we can present to Him is our worship, both in words and by our lifestyles. We were made to give Him pleasure. Go into today determined to Worship God more.

Prayer: Father, I thank You for the birth of Your son Jesus Christ. Please give me the grace to please Him more every day. Amen

Things had not been this bad for them in years and worse still, January was approaching and the children needed school fees to resume school. She thought about all her needs when she remembered today’s Bible text. She received grace and went to the Lord in prayers. As always, the Lord provided.

Anxiety and fear are vehicles through which unclean spirits can invade a life. They are the product of diminished faith in God. Your greatest weapon and shield against the forces of darkness is your faith (see Eph 6:16,1 John 5:4).

Anxiety does not ever produce any good fruit in us. Being anxious does not solve the problem, it only worsens it. Having faith in God solves the problem ;it means we bring our problems to Our heavenly father in prayer, thanking Him for all He has done for us; how He spared our lives from destruction; how He saved us the last time we called upon him in distress; how He is going to save us even now.
As you go into today, remember that many Christians who compromise usually do so because of anxiety. It is sad to be neglected, but more so when it is done on your big day of celebration. Christmas is the celebration of the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If Christ died for us publicly, how can we serve Him only in private? The gospel without the cross is hopelessness. Christmas is not just about eating, drinking and Santa Claus; it is all about Christ.

In the scripture we are considering today, the Son is not born. He (the Son, Christ Jesus) that eternally existed is given. The child is born and entered our times. He who dwells in the realm of eternity entered our time. He understands our times. And so it is that eternity breaks into time and gives us a glimpse of what always was, and is, and is to come. God in that divine moment revealed Himself to us as He had never revealed before; through His Son.

That’s what the Christmas message is all about.

“A parallel universe is a theory of a self-contained separate reality co-existing with one's own. While the terms "parallel universe" and "alternative reality" are generally synonymous and can be used interchangeably in most cases, there is sometimes an additional connotation implied with the term "alternative reality" that implies that the reality is a variant of our own.”- Wikipedia.

Study of the Bible reveals that there are realms, with each realm exerting its power over the lower realm. The spirit realm or second heaven can exert some influence and power over this physical realm because it is higher than this realm. There is a realm higher than the second heaven; this realm is called the third heaven. This realm is superior to the spiritual realm where demons operate, it is the highest heaven where God dwells (see Psa 115:16, Deu 10:14). This is the divine realm and the power from this realm cannot be resisted in all the lower realms; which include heaven, earth, and under the earth (see Phil 2:10).

Those who are in Christ are seated with Him in heavenly places, far above principalities and powers, dominion and rule, and every name that can be invoked in heaven, on earth and under the earth (see Eph 1:21, Phil 2:10). Henry knew it was time to preach the gospel to every creature. Through Henry, deliverance came to  the land and the people therein.

Jesus has given us the awesome privilege to preach the gospel to every creature. This means everything that God has created can be affected by the power of the gospel. When the gospel prospers in a life, it brings deliverance and ushers in great blessings. When the gospel prospers in a territory, it has the same effect on that territory. Territories held bound by demonic princes can be set free because of the gospel, and most importantly, people who have been sentenced to eternal damnation are now free to partake in God’s divine life because of the gospel.

As you pray today, ask the Lord to empower you to be a more effective agent of the gospel.

Pray this Prayer: thank you Lord for the privilege I have to present your precious gospel. I pray you help in this. Amen. Not born again? Click this link: http://bit.ly/1iTOmol
