The Kingdom Of Heaven pt3

download the audio version with YBP Audio Bible: http://bit.ly/2aqCk1E

Matt 6:33
[NASB]
33 "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you.

The root word of 'kingdom' in the book of Matthew is a word that could also be interpreted to mean realm. The kingdom of God is the realm of God. The kingdom of God is within us because the Holy Spirit dwells within us to reveal the reality of God to us. The more you allow Him fill you, the more of God's realm and reality you will experience. Seeing the Kingdom of God means experiencing the person of God through His Spirit within you. It is a result of believing in Christ and baptism in the Holy Spirit.

The Lord tells us that the kingdom of God is within us (see Luke 17:21), but we know that He wouldn’t say 'the kingdom of heaven is within you' because while God is omnipresent and can be in all places at the same time, heaven is a definite place (or realm), and is not in all places. Seeing 'The kingdom of Heaven' means experiencing the reality of heaven. It is a result of spiritual growth and elevation.

When racism and tribalism dies in a Christian, he has grown to realize that his citizenship is in heaven. He has started interfacing with the realm where God operates; He has started interfacing with the Kingdom of Heaven.

Go into today also knowing that God wants you to live a life of heaven on earth. He wants His reality and the reality of His throne to invade your life and the earth through you.

Matt 13:11-12 [NASB]
And He answered and said to them, "To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven… "For whoever has, to him shall more be given, and he shall have an abundance…

After being friends for weeks, Ben and Daniel continued to meet in school, and they really enjoyed each other's company. Ben knew Daniel was the son of the king, but this did not affect their friendship. Daniel's humility was one of the things Ben admired about him. A time came that Daniel started to see Ben as not just a friend but as a brother. At that point, Daniel insisted that Ben came to visit his home and experience the palace as his royal guest. This meant that Ben was going to be treated as a prince in the kingdom from that day forth.

There is a level of intimacy you will have with the Lord that He would introduce you to His realm. Even though you have experienced God's reality and person through the Holy Spirit, He would lead you to further experience His realm of operation, not only His person.

We are made to understand that heaven is God's throne. When we become part of the realities of 'The Kingdom of Heaven', we become part of the activities of God's throne. This is what the kingdom of heaven means.

It is understandable why most people think 'the kingdom of God' and 'The Kingdom of Heaven' mean the same thing. But note that Matthew took care to single out 'The kingdom of Heaven' in most cases, even though he also mentioned ' The kingdom of God' at certain instances (see Mat 6:33, 12:28, 19:23-24). We too should be conscious of these two Coalescing realities.

Go into today asking the Holy Spirit to teach you to be more and more intimate with Him.

Matt 13:11-12 [NASB]
And He answered and said to them, "To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been granted. 12 "For whoever has, to him shall more be given, and he shall have an abundance…

After Selma believed and was baptized, she became conscious of the person of the Holy Spirit. She could sense when he was pleased and when he was displeased. She was also now led by the Holy Spirit. As she grew in this, she became conscious of not only the person of the Holy Spirit, but the activities of His kingdom- she became conscious of the Kingdom of heaven.

The kingdom of God is within every Christian(Luke 17:21). We begin to sense this kingdom when we are born again (John 3:3). This kingdom is administered by the Spirit of God within us. Anyone who has not experienced the kingdom of God in his heart will not experience the reality of the kingdom of heaven. The first thing you begin to sense as a believer is the kingdom and the government of God through His Spirit. Then you will grow into sensing and becoming conscious of the activities of heaven.

A time would come when you not only begin to sense the activity of the Holy Spirit within you, but will also begin to sense the activities of heaven. Angels and their activities would no more be hidden from you. The activities of God's sovereignty and His orchestrations would no more be hidden from you.

As you go into today, ask the Lord to help you become conscious of the kingdom of heaven and the activities of heaven. That is where your help comes from, and that is where your riches and blessings are stored (see Eph 1:3).

Prayer: Lord, please help me grow to become more conscious of the activities and agenda of heaven.

TRUE FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS 4

Audio Version with Audio Bible: http://bit.ly/2aw35VV

Jude 3-4 [NLT]
…But now I find that I must write about something else, urging you to defend the faith that God has entrusted once for all time to his holy people. 4 I say this because some ungodly people have wormed their way into your churches, saying that God's marvelous grace allows us to live immoral lives…

One sad thing about being deceived is that those deceived do not know that they are being deceived. They sincerely believe that they are right.

Deception is one of the devil's key weapons against God's people. He tries to get us deluded to walk in darkness. For the past couple of days, we have been writing on 'true faith in Christ Jesus' because we want to destroy the deception of the devil that is leading honest Christians into a kind of faith that is not the true faith in Christ Jesus. This kind of faith has no fruit and no evidence of righteousness, but is simply talk and more talk. This kind of faith has no real power it produces because it leaves its followers captives to diverse kinds of sins.

When Paul wrote 1 Cor 6:9-10 which says "Do not be deceived! The sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers… will not inherit the kingdom of God", he knew that there would be those who claimed to have faith in Christ, but who were still practicing the sins he mentioned. He knew that such people believed they were in God's kingdom because they have been deceived.

The devil will do anything to keep people deceived from walking in righteousness, because this would give them power over him. He would use false doctrines to deceive many into a version of faith that makes them powerless over him.

Go into today knowing that unrighteousness is what gives Satan power over people. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all unrighteousness.

Thank the Lord Jesus for His blood that cleanses you. Ask for grace to walk in true righteousness.

True Faith in Christ Jesus 3

Jude 3-4 [NLT]
…But now I find that I must write about something else, urging you to defend the faith that God has entrusted once for all time to his holy people. 4 I say this because some ungodly people have wormed their way into your churches, saying that God's marvelous grace allows us to live immoral lives…

When Jim gave his life to Christ, he was very glad to find a church that didn’t make him uncomfortable with his lifestyle [of sin] that he enjoyed. They encouraged him to love the Lord, but did not discourage him from loving the world (see 1 John 2:15). He continued comfortable in his sinful lifestyle while he was now seriously committed to that church. What he did not know was that he was not yet a Christian at all.

Any teaching that undermines righteousness is not teaching the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, it is teaching another faith. True Faith always produces righteousness-the works of faith, and faith without works is dead (see James 2:14). Righteousness produced by faith is not a product of human struggle; it is a product of grace.

The purpose of the old covenant was to produce righteousness. The old covenant failed in doing this because the flesh was weak. The purpose of the new covenant is still to produce righteousness in us. It has succeeded because our born again spirits energizes our flesh to walk righteously. We are being renewed from within.

The reason why God's covenant with fallen man seeks to produce righteousness is because God's throne is established in righteousness and justice (see Psa 89:14). If we must partake in this throne, we must allow God's nature of righteousness to dominate us.

Go into today asking the Lord to empower you to always please Him in all things, and be fruitful in every good work.

TRUE FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS 2

Download Audio version with YBP Audio Bible: http://bit.ly/2asrFFF

1 John 3:10-11 [NASB]
By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother.

Clement was careful with the friends he made as a freshman in college. He knew that God wanted to use him on campus, so he was very careful selecting his friends. His rule was simple; anyone who practiced unrighteousness was unrighteous and not a child of God, regardless of what he or she claimed to be. This is how he succeeded in making the right friends.

The Lord Jesus teaches us that we will know people by their fruits(see Mat 7:16). We also see from today's Bible text that anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God.

Our righteousness comes from the Lord; He helps us and empowers us to be righteous before Him. The Holy Spirit within us administers the grace of God to our spirits and empowers us to be righteous before God, but we must yield to the Spirit and not yield to the flesh. This is the secret of Christian righteousness.

No one truly filled with the Holy Spirit will continue to walk in unrighteousness because he will have received a renewed nature. No one who knows God will trust in his own righteousness as basis for access to God. He will know that the grace of Jesus that gives him access to God's throne is also responsible for his ability to be righteous.

Go into today yielding to the Holy Spirit and walking in a manner worthy of the Lord.

Ask the Lord to deliver you from everything that displeases Him and help you glorify Him with your body.

TRUE FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS

Audio Version with YBP Audio Bible: http://bit.ly/2a6IIu6

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (NET)
9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived! The sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, passive homosexual partners, practicing homosexuals, 10 thieves, the greedy, drunkards, the verbally abusive, and swindlers will not inherit the kingdom of God.

I have known of persons who live in known sins and claim to be believers in Christ Jesus. They claim that they are saved by grace, and that their salvation is not affected by their unholy lifestyle.

We cannot rule out the fact that Christians can make mistakes and sometimes fall, but anyone who continually comfortably lives in sin has no part in God's kingdom. He only proves that He has not really been born of God, because anyone truly born of God will have a changed nature that abhors sin (see 1 John 3:9).

If you profess faith in Christ Jesus, but are still comfortably living in any of the sins mentioned in today’s Bible text, know that your profession of faith in Christ is counterfeit. You have been deceived and need to repent from your sins in order to have a part in the kingdom of God. True faith in Christ Jesus always produces true repentance.

God’s grace empowers you to live a holy life before Him. It is never a license to sin. God wants us to walk in His perfect will and experience the best of His riches, but sin and guilt are some of the major hindrances to this. God's grace is available to help anyone who repents and turns to Him for empowerment to be Holy.

Go into today, trusting in the finished work of Christ on the cross as the reason why you will receive the grace of God to walk above sin. Do not let the devil discourage you if you fall. Know that even though a righteous man falls seven times, he will rise again because the seed of God is in him (see Prov 24:16). Not Born Again? Tap Here: http://bit.ly/1iTOmol

LOVE IS THE GREATEST

Audio Version with YBP Audio Bible: http://bit.ly/2a5mwDL

1 John 3:18 [NIV]
Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.

It has always been said that actions speak louder than words. It is particularly so when love is the subject matter.

All Christians are members of the same family. We are to love each other in actions and truth. We are to care for each other sincerely and genuinely. And we are to show charity to people we come in contact with. For Christians, Love among us is a direct command from the Lord. And this is the most important of all commandments. Love is God's most domineering attribute and anyone who loves is born of God and knows God (see 1 John 4:7). There are many other great attributes of being born of God. They include power, might, etc. But one attribute that is exclusive to those who are born of God is love. Satan's children can have power too, but they can never love. They don’t have access to the power that produces love.

Go into today determining to walk in the Love of God by walking in the Spirit. There is a degree of power that walking in love would release to your spirit that not even your faith can release. Love is indeed the greatest (see 1 Cor 13:13).

Prayer: Ask the Lord to help you to sincerely love His brethren in action and in truth. Amen.

THE MOST POWERFUL FORCE IN YOUR LIFE

Audio Version with Audio Bible: http://bit.ly/2ak9amr

Rev 12:11[NET]
But they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die.

Dare had a very bad dream. In this dream he saw he was poisoned. As soon as he woke up, he started physically feeling the effect of the poison. For days Dare prayed and trusted God to heal him and deliver him from the effect of that spiritually applied poison that was now affecting every area of His life.

Dare got his freedom when he remembered to use the word. In faith, he started declaring the word of God concerning himself. He did this with the understanding that the word of God in his mouth was the most powerful force in his life, much more powerful than any demonic poison in His system. This is how Dare annulled the effect of the demonic spell and received his total freedom.

Today's Bible text shows how and why we overcome the devil.

With the power of sin and guilt pulling us down, we don’t stand a chance against Satan. But the blood of Jesus cleanses us and takes this power [of sin] away. It takes away Satan's legal right over us and gives us victory over Satan.

The word of your testimony is the word of God that has become Rhema to you. It is the word of God in your mouth. This was how Jesus conquered Satan on the mount of temptation.

As you go into today, remember that the word of God in your mouth is the most powerful force in your life. It is much more powerful than any spell, curse or pronunciation of darkness against you. The universe came into existence by the word, and all creation is commanded by it.
Ask the Lord to help you use the sword of the Spirit always.

FORGIVE AS CHRIST FORGAVE

Audio Version with YBP Audio Bible: http://bit.ly/29Suc9N

Colossians 3:13 [KJV]
Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

It is a common saying even among some Christians that 'I can forgive, but I can't forget'. A casual look at that statement may appear true. One can be so hurt that it seems only time would wipe away the ill feeling. However, as true believers in Christ, our main scripture today has given us the target when we forgive- to forgive as Christ forgave us.

One reason why a person may struggle with forgiveness is that he or she does not fully understand how Christ forgave the believer. In other words, he or she has not even experienced Christ's forgiveness fully.

In the New Covenant, God promises to forgive and forget- total forgiveness. See it here;
' For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and THEIR SINS AND THEIR INIQUITIES WILL I REMEMBER NO MORE. In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away. ' (Heb 8:12 — 13). What Christ did for us is more than forgiveness, it is remission. (Heb 10:17-18). Once a remission take place, there can be no other opportunity to be forgiven. That is why that scripture did not even say 'as Christ forgives us'. It says 'forgave'.

With this understanding, can you still afford to hold that grudge?

Pray for grace and deal with it once for all today.
