1 Samuel 24:6-7 (NIV)
He [David] said to his men, “The Lord forbid that I should do such a thing to my master, the Lord’s anointed, or lay my hand on him; for he is the anointed of the Lord.” 7 With these words David sharply rebuked his men and did not allow them to attack Saul. And Saul left the cave and went his way.

The above passage tells us of a time when young David had the opportunity to kill Saul - a King who had been after his life. King Saul was particular about killing David because the same man who anointed Saul as king over Israel had also anointed David as a replacement King for Saul. However, David was yet to become King because the PROCESS to make him king had not yet happened. Although he was King Elect (anointed by the King Maker, Prophet Samuel), he knew the process of getting there mattered. He knew the law was clear, you never kill a man anointed by God and the reigning King, Saul, was anointed.

In the passage for today, David told his men God forbid for him to break process to achieve his dreams - even a dream sanctioned by God. What are your dreams, what has God promised you or what are you hoping to get from God? A wonderful spouse? Money, Power, Leadership, being a missionary for Christ? Whatever it is you desire or maybe have even been promised by God, you must ensure that you do not go trying to get it outside of the will of God.

Think of your life, If you were David, would you just do this ‘little’ wrong of killing an anointed man (whom God rejected) just to fast track your desire, hope, or God’s promise to you? Would you break ranks or stay the course and keep hoping and laboring?

Go into today asking the Holy Spirit to search your heart, and help you wholly trust God’s plan while also giving you the grace to continue working hard within God’s command and rule.

Prayer: Lord, help me wholly trust your plan and receive grace to continue working hard within your command and rule. Amen.
-Dr. Stephen O Ohize

Psalms 27:13 (NET)
Where would I be if I did not believe I would experience the Lord’s favor in the land of the living?

When Kemi graduated from university,  her self confidence was on an all-time low because she believed that no one would want to employ her. She had very poor grades.

During the dark days of her life on campus, she contemplated suicide many times because of her academic failures and the harsh words she heard from her family members, but she held onto a knowing in her spirit from the Lord that she would still experience His goodness in the land of the living. When she was a teenager, The Lord had spoken prophetically to her that she would be a great woman in life. Those prophetic words were what she held onto and still believed her life would still count, in spite of how worthless she was made to feel.

During her youth service year, she spent a great part of the time praying and seeking the face of the Lord-- He was her only hope in this life. Unlike others, she couldn't trust in the strength of her degree but only in the Lord. From spending time with the Lord she built up her confidence and boldness. She now realized that contrary to many voices she had heard before, she was not a failure.

She faced life with that confidence and doors that didn't open for the most brilliant people opened for her. Six years after she graduated, she was now a celebrated entrepreneur with many graduates as her employees.

If you are a child of God, then know that God's plans for you are plans of good and not of evil, and as you abide in Him, you will see these plan come to fruition if you faint not (Gal 6:9, Jer 29:11).

God's word to someone today is that you will soon see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Things will not always continue the way they have been but you will see good things from the Lord that will make you glad and rejoice. The Lord will prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies, and you will experience an overflow of His blessings in every area of your life.

Go into today knowing that God who saved David from the jaws of death and made him king over Israel is the same God you worship. He will bring you into the greater days of your life as you continue to rely on Him in confidence (see Psa 27:13-14).

Prayer: Thank God because He is the one who lifts you up in His time. Thank Him because you know that when He blesses, no curse can linger.

Receiving Answers To Prayers

You are invited to the 2019 Streamglobe Conference | Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria. | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi | Free Conference Registration Here: streamglobe.org/conference2019

Luke 18:1 (KJV)
And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint.

There was a city judge known to be very godless and with great contempt for everyone. In this city was a widow who was cheated by some men, because they knew that she had no one who could speak for her. She, however, went to this wicked judge begging him to avenge her of these men, but the judge only pushed her aside. This widow, however, kept begging the judge until her plea became embarrassing to him. It was at this point that the judge called the men who cheated her and demanded that they return all that they have taken from her. The judge then turned to the widow and said, ‘ can I at least have my peace now?’ The widow smiled, thanked him, and went away.

The story above was is culled from one the Lord Jesus told in Luke 18:2-5.

And to conclude the story, Jesus in verse 7 asked, ’don’t you think that God will surely give justice to his people who plead with him day and night?’. My answer is "yes" because I know that God is good.

What then is the reason why we have not received answers to so many prayers?

Our text today says the answer is because we faint before the answers arrive. When Daniel prayed, God heard him and send the answer immediately, but a territorial spirit hindered his answer from reaching him. The answer effectually reached him because he did not faint; he continued to pray until he received his answer.

Just like Daniel, we must learn not to quit asking God until we have seen and received what we are asking for. We must learn to wear the devil out by our consistent trust in God.

Go into today making up your mind not to quit asking until you have received your answer.

Prayer: Father, please mobilize the forces of heaven to facilitate the speedy delivery of answers to my prayers, in Jesus name. Amen.

Power In The Blood Of Jesus

You are invited to the 2019 Streamglobe Conference | Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria. | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi | Free Conference Registration Here: streamglobe.org/conference2019

Revelation 12:11 (KJV)
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Sukanmi was afflicted and he knew the reason why. There was a time in his life that he was sinfully careless and opened the door to the devil. But he had since repented.

Because he knew that the door to his affliction was opened when he backslid and took an adventure into the world, Sukanmi didn't have the courage to resist the devil and receive his freedom.

But through the ministry of the word, the Lord opened his eyes one night to the power and effect of the blood of Jesus. He now realized that because of the blood of Jesus, he was redeemed out of the hand of the devil, and was justified before God - just as if he had never sinned. That same week, he permanently broke free from that affliction of the devil.

Before Satan can afflict people, he has to first successfully accuse them before the throne of God (see Job 1:9-12-- how Satan accused Job before God and got the license to afflict him). Because all have sinned, and the natural tendencies of fallen man are sinful, the devil rarely runs out of potent accusations against people. Based on that, no descendant of Adam can overcome him on his own merit of righteousness.

But Jesus came to be the sacrifice that atones for our sins (1 John 2:2): He was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquity, chastised that we may have peace, and flogged that we may be healed (Isaiah 53:5). Because innocent righteous Jesus was made to suffer for our sins, if we believe in Him and abide in Him, we would not suffer again for our sins.

By the blood of Jesus, Satan's legal right to afflict you has been removed because Jesus has been afflicted in your stead.

Based on our own righteousness, we could never overcome [the dark powers of the kingdom of] this world. But because of Jesus' blood that is the receipt for the price Jesus paid to make us the righteousness of God, we are overcomers!

Go into today remembering that through the blood of Jesus, we overcome Satan and walk in dominion. Hallelujah!

Confession: By the blood of Jesus, my sins have been forgiven. By the blood of Jesus, I have been justified and cleansed. By the blood of Jesus, I have been redeemed out of the hand of the devil. Hallelujah! (Repeat this confession).

Living By Every Word

You are invited to the 2019 Streamglobe Conference | Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria. | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi |Register: streamglobe.org/conference2019

Matthew 4:4 (KJV)
But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceed out of the mouth of God.

God’s word is powerful. People have had testimonies about their lives being changed by single verses in the Bible. Some have had life-changing moments from single messages, chapters, stories or even Bible books. However, have we considered what Jesus meant when he said: “man shall live by EVERY WORD that proceeds out of the mouth of God”? – Every word. The Bible is a reasonable large book with verses that cover practically every aspect of human life. Jesus is saying every word is important for man to live by.

While it is great to have life-changing experiences from verses and sections of the scriptures, we must always remember to return to the bible for more. A Christian should never be tired of learning the scripture until he has grasped every word that God has to offer in the bible. This is indeed impossible in one lifetime. As even the apostle Paul admitted to wanting to know more. Philippians 3:10 (KJV) “that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection…”

Go into today with the consciousness that God wants us to live our lives according to every word that proceeds from Him. Let the humility of what is yet to be learned [from the Bible] guide us even into deeper personal study of scriptures and prayers.

Continue to learn of Him fellow student of Christ. Remain blessed.
Prayer: Father, please help me find comfort, peace, and joy in your word. Amen.

The Humility of Christ

You are invited to the 2019 Streamglobe Conference | Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria. | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi |

Philippians 2:5-8 (NET)
You should have the same attitude toward one another that Christ Jesus had, who though he existed in the form of God did not regard equality with God as something to be grasped, but emptied himself by taking on the form of a slave, by looking like other men, and by sharing in human nature.
He humbled himself, by becoming obedient to the point of death – even death on a cross!

While studying the subject of humility and seeing that it is the strongest attribute of the nature of Christ pointed out in scripture(see Matthew 11:29, Philippians 2:5-8), I was wondering and asking the Lord why so much emphasis on the subject of humility. I didn't ask long before I remembered that pride was the one thing that turned the angel Lucifer into Satan. Pride entered his heart and iniquity was found in him (Ezekiel 28:14, 15, 17).

One of the biggest roots of iniquity is pride. The opposite of pride is humility.

As powerful as God is, He is humble. We are to be like God not like the devil (see 1 Peter 1:16).

Pride is a root of iniquity. God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble (1 Peter 5:5-6). Anyone who walks in pride will walk under the resistance of heaven. That's a bad place to be.

Do you want to live under the dew of heaven? Do you want your prayers answered before you even utter them? Then be truly humble. I Believe one reason Moses had so much power with God was that he was the most humble man on earth during his day (see Numbers 12:3).

Go into today determining to be like Jesus in your heart. The strongest attribute of the nature of Christ is humility.

Prayer: Resist all forms of pride and ask the Lord for grace to be more humble and gentle (see Ephesians 4:2).

Humility Like Christ’s

Luke 14:8 (NKJV)
“When you are invited by anyone to a wedding feast, do not sit down in the best place, lest one more honourable than you be invited by him; and he who invited you come and say to you, ‘Give place to this man,’ and then you begin with shame to take the lowest place.

Humility has become a buzz word with several opinions and views as to what it means. Some take it as being pious or gentile. However, Jesus taught us exactly what it should be as Christians. It is not taking the best place (the high table) simply because we think we deserve it. How many times have we been angry because we feel we are deserving of something that was offered to another person - Jesus calls it pride. How many times have we been angry amongst friends and colleagues because we feel we have not received the kind of treatment and respect we deserve?

The scriptures admonish us to esteem others above ourselves. Philippians 2:3 “…but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves”. This is not even about equality but esteeming others better than ourselves.

Are you disagreeing on principles or just because you think you are equal or better than others? How about your pastors and church leaders. Think about your daily interactions with equals, superiors, and subordinates; think about your relationship with husband, wife, parents, and authorities. What guides your interactions, Humility or the feeling of pride and/or equality? Pride is of the devil, it is his nature and in contrast to the life of Christ which is embedded in humility.

Prayer: Go into today asking the Holy Spirit to help you look into your heart and separate healthy and godly aspirations from pride.

Learning From Christ- Humility

You are invited to the 2019 Streamglobe Conference | Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria. | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi |

Matthew 11:29 (NET)
Take my yoke on you and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

There was a time in my life that I wasn't seeing the need or importance of the discipline of fasting in my walk with the Lord. Many of the reasons people gave for fasting weren't adding up for me.

But I had a conversation with a friend who had just been listening to some sermons by Derek Prince. He promptly informed me that he just learned that fasting is so powerful because it is one of the most effective ways people humble themselves before God.

At that point it clicked, God gives grace(power) to the humble (see1 Peter 5:5-6, James 4:6-7). That's the reason why when people fast, they can increase in spiritual power. That's the reason why fasting is so powerful and such an effective discipline in seeking the face of God.

(See  Psalm 49:12) When man fell and became like one of the other animals (to the extent that many call themselves a higher animal), the only way God could redeem man and bring him back to his original place of glory was to become like one of us. It was the sacrifice of a man that was required to fulfill the claims of divine justice, but there was no man qualified to be that sacrifice because all have sinned as a result of the seed of Adam (see Rom 3:23). So Jesus came with the seed of the spirit of God as the first new creation man. He came without the Adamic sinful seed and was qualified to take away the sin of the whole world.

But in order for this to happen, He, being the second person of the Godhead, had to strip Himself of all His glory and become a humble man who would be killed by His creatures.

Such humility is unparalleled, and the glory such humility invokes is also unparalleled (see Philippians 2:7-11).

Go into today remembering that it is to the humble that God gives grace. Do you want to walk in great grace like our Lord Jesus? Then let Him be your example in humility. Do everything to help keep your heart in a humble state.

Prayer: Lord, deliver me from every root of pride and help me to be perfectly humble and gentle. Amen.

Receiving Through His Promises

Audio Version here☞ bit.ly/aud1245

2 Corinthians 1:20 (ESV)
For all the promises of God find their Yes in [Christ]. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory.

Jade had a problem that made her pray and cry almost every night. One day she was listening to the word of God, she heard a promise that spoke directly about her problem.  She was first excited, but she later said 'this promise only applied to the Hebrew women and not for me'. She didn’t realize that the promises of God are actually more real in Christ than they were in the old covenant. When she knew that the promise she heard on the radio was actually meant for her because she was in Christ, she claimed and received her miracle. It was that simple.

It is the same God that Abraham and the other patriarchs of the faith worshiped that we worship. But we can even have a closer relationship with Him through Christ Jesus.

God’s word is the most powerful force in the whole universe. When God releases His word in the form of promises, if you believe them and receive them in Christ's name with thanksgiving, they will be fulfilled in your life just as you have believed.

Go into today remembering that being in Christ is superior to being a Jew. All the promises of God (even the ones that the Jews could not receive) can be received by you through Christ Jesus. Let your prayers take root in the word and promises of God. This is the most effective way to pray and receive from God.

Prayer: Ask the Lord to help you know and claim all His promises for you.

Healing prayer for the sick in today's audio

Matthew 11:29 (KJV)
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

George’s Dad was a very successful and celebrated athlete who won so many medals, made a lot of money through his athletic career and moved on to become a very successful businessman. Because of the resemblance between George’s dad and him, people fondly referred to them as twins. George inherited his father’s athletic genes and was like a carbon copy of his dad,  but he didn’t have his father’s interest in sports and never became an athlete like his father.

From George’s story, we can learn that it is possible to have the gene of a man and even look like him but hate what he loves and never become like him.

You will not become like your Father just because he fathered you, you will become like him by learning his ways and imbibing his disciplines. The reason a believer may not be having the results Jesus had is because he has not yet learned to live like Jesus lived. Jesus lived by the Father, and we are to live by Him (see John 6:57).

Now that you are saved, what is next is to learn the life of Jesus and live like he lived. Read Luke 10:39-42

Go into today knowing that the way to become like Jesus is learning of Him and living life the way He did.

But When Men Slept

You are invited to the 2019 Streamglobe Conference | Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria. | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi |

Healing prayer for the sick in today's audio

Matthew 13:25 (KJV)
But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

After Joel stock his new fish ponds with fingerlings, he would come every morning and evening to feed them and sometimes just stand admiring how the little creatures were fearing. After some months when the time of harvest was near, Joel woke up as usual and went to the ponds to feed the fish, but to his shock, more than two third of the fish were missing-- someone had stolen them. The thief came in the night while Joel slept. It was after this sad incidence that Joel employed a guard.

You see, the devil is a thief (see John 10:10), he achieves this by taking advantage of the weakness or weak moment of the one from whom he steals. One of such moments is described as ‘when men slept’.

Jesus in Matthew 24:43 (KJV) says that, if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

So, the way to keep the thief away is to keep watch. How then do we watch?

Matthew 26:38 KJV, ‘Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.’

According to Jesus in the passage above, to watch means to pray. And someone may say, how can I pray when I am weak?

Mark 14:38 (KJV) says, ‘Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.’

It is whenever you don’t feel like praying that you need prayer the most, because, not feeling like praying is a temptation and the way to overcome it is to pray.

Go into today knowing that when you keep watching, you keep the thief away.

Pray like this:  Father, I receive the spirit of grace and prayer, and with discipline and the help of the Holy Spirit, I keep the enemy away from my life in Jesus name.

God Wants All People Saved

You are invited to the 2019 Streamglobe Conference | Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria. | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi |

Healing prayer for the sick in today's audio

1 Timothy 2:4 (NET)
… [God] wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.

Emeka had prayed for the salvation of his brothers for years, but it appeared that things were getting worse and not better.

A time came that he started to entertain the false thought that maybe his brothers were not saved because they were never selected by God for salvation. This thought in his heart weakened his faith and made his prayer for his brothers less powerful.

When he knew that it was God's will for them to be saved, his supplications for them became more powerful and regular, and he started seeing the result. All his brothers eventually became saved.

I have come to learn that the most powerful kind of prayer regarding the salvation of others is the prayer of supplication. Another word for supplication is begging. When it comes to the will and choice of other people, your declarations and demands may not be very effective, but your plea before the throne of God for them is very effective. Only God has the authority to influence the will of people, and we have to make sufficient supplications before His throne to make this happen. If we begin to entertain the false thought that maybe God has not selected a person to be saved, it weakens our faith in prayer for that person’s salvation.

Go into today knowing that one of the reasons God placed you in your family is because He wants you to pray and generate sufficient spiritual license for Him to invade the other members of your family with His salvation.

Prayer: Lord, please help me do my part in facilitating the salvation of my loved ones. Amen.

Turning the Grace of God Into License

You are invited to the 2019 Streamglobe Conference |  Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria. | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi |

Audio Version: bit.ly/streamglobe1984

Jude 1:4 (NET)
For certain men have secretly slipped in among you – men who long ago were marked out for the condemnation I am about to describe – ungodly men who have turned the grace of our God into a license for evil and who deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

A certain preacher traveled a far distance to preach in a church that invited him.
While resting in his motel room, he heard a knock on his door. When he responded he realized it was a desperate prostitute who saw him as a potential client.  He felt a lot of pity for her while informing her that he wasn’t interested in her services. "Only if this precious one would receive the gospel and be set free" he thought.

To his biggest surprise the next day, after finding his way to the church where he was to preach,  he noticed that the same prostitute who knocked on his door in the motel was one of the chorus leaders in the choir. He couldn't understand how this could be.

When he further inquired,  he observed that some of the leaders in the church knew what this lady used to do once in a while to "help herself pay the bills",  but they all looked the other way because they said "after all, we are under grace. It is not by works but by grace".

Clearly,  this church and its teachers had taken the grace of God as a license to sin. They were in great danger but didn't know it.

If the grace of God is not properly understood,  it would be taken for a license to sin by those who do not love righteousness(Romans 6:1-2).  But if the grace of God is properly understood,  it is the greatest power against the dominion of sin in the life of a believer (see Romans 6:14).

Grace can be mistaken for license by some because righteousness through grace is one that does not depend on works and rules, but one that is received as a gift and appropriated by faith. This faith makes the believer understand that the reason he is accepted by God is not because of what he did but because of the righteousness of Jesus. This understanding and living from this standpoint of faith is the secret to walking truly in the righteousness of Jesus- one that has dominion over sin.

Go into today remembering that it is an agenda of the devil to cause believers to take the grace of God and turn it into a license for sin. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Confession: sin has no dominion over me. I walk in grace and not under condemnation. Hallelujah!

Sowing Wisely 3

You are invited to the 2019 Streamglobe Conference |  Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria. | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi |

Galatians 6:6-8 (NET)
Now the one who receives instruction in the word must share all good things with the one who teaches it.
Do not be deceived. God will not be made a fool. For a person will reap what he sows,
because the person who sows to his own flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.

The first time Linda gave to the man of God through whom she had learned the way of the kingdom, she had an expectation to be blessed because she sowed into his ministry, but that expectation was not the reason she gave. She gave because she wanted to honor him and help with the work he was doing, and she got a bountiful harvest of reward from the Lord. But the second time Linda gave to this man of God, the only reason she was giving was that she wanted to get something in return. That was why she got nothing from the LORD.

Many believers sow in the right field but not with the right motive, and because of this,  they reap nothing. Giving to God only because you want something in return is not the way to sow to the spirit. Search the scriptures,  you will see that all who received a bountiful harvest because of their giving didn't do so primarily because of the returns. They gave either because of honor,  or because they wanted to meet a need, or because of love for God's kingdom. These were the people who were rewarded for their giving.

Go into today remembering that the right field to share all good things are with the ones who teach you the word.
PRAYER: ask God to purify your motives when giving so that you would not sow to the flesh and reap nothing.

Seedtime and Harvest

You are invited to the 2019 Streamglobe Conference |  Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria. | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi |

Audio Version: bit.ly/aud1982

Genesis 8:22 (KJV)
While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

Instead of picking stones from her beans like many others, Amara used the clever method of pouring the beans in water, thereby letting the stones and the bad beans settle, and picking out the good beans but leaving the bad ones and stones in the water. She would then throw out the water with the bad beans and stones on a little portion of soil in her backyard.

With time she observed that some of the beans thrown out started germinating and growing. She allowed them to grow and in due time, she harvested a small bucket full of beans from that unintentional planting. Amara didn't have a bountiful harvest of bags of beans because even though she sowed, her sowing was not intentional.

Seedtime is when you sow and give away in hope. Harvest is when you receive as a result of what has been sown. Only fools fail to realize that for every harvest there was a seed time. Life is guided by the law of seedtime and harvest.

Many times, people sow seeds without knowing it. But you would agree with me that those who expect a bountiful harvest are deliberate and intentional in their sowing. Those who want a bountiful harvest deliberately sow bountifully.

Many believers today expect a bountiful harvest from the Lord but they have not been sowing anything intentionally and purposefully.

For example, Sowing quality time daily in the place of prayer reaps a bountiful harvest of spiritual power and intimacy with God (see James 5:16, Heb 11:6).
Sowing in the place of the word reaps a harvest of divine wisdom and understanding, and mountain-moving faith, etc. (see Psalm 19:7, Romans 10:17).
Sowing financially in love to support the work of God yields a harvest of financial open doors and increase (see Luke 6:38, Phil 4:18-19).

Go into today determining to prepare for a bountiful harvest by sowing bountifully(see 2 Cor 9:6).

Prayer: Dear Lord, please help me be deliberate, purposeful and wise in my sowing. Amen.

Sowing Wisely 2

After Linda observed that the reason she received great financial open doors that season of her life was because she gave the most to the minister who had instructed her in the word of God the most, she started giving to that minister again. But this time, she did not receive any financial breakthrough. She became confused because she expected her doors to open but they did not.

Even though the reason she received the kind of breakthrough she received at first was because she gave to that minister, her motive for giving the second time was now polluted. This time she was sowing to the flesh and that was why she did not receive anything.

The first time she gave to that minister, it was because she sincerely appreciated his ministry and wanted to support it. But this second time, she gave because she wanted to do a transaction with God that would fetch her financial breakthrough. The first time she sowed, she sowed to the spirit because she gave in the spirit of honor to God and to His servant, this second time the real reason she gave was because she wanted a return. There was no spiritual seed of honor or love for God's kingdom, there was only the fleshly seed of greed and self-aggrandizement.

Go into today remembering that God is not mocked. Those who sow to themselves(the flesh) under the disguise of giving to God will reap nothing but corruption. But those who sow to the spirit by letting their motivation for giving be honor to God and His servants, love for God’s kingdom, and love for people, will reap a bountiful harvest.

Prayer: Lord please help me sow to the Spirit and no more to the flesh. Amen.

Sowing Wisely

Galatians 6:6-7 (NET)

Now the one who receives instruction in the word must share all good things with the one who teaches it.
Do not be deceived. God will not be made a fool. For a person will reap what he sows

Linda observed that there was a season in her life that she walked in great financial open doors she never expected.

When she started inquiring of the Lord the reason for the unusual open doors she experienced that season, the Lord showed her that it was because she shared her money with a pastor from whom she had learned so much. During that season of her life, she was sowing correctly and reaping a bountiful harvest.

Many believers wonder where the most fruitful field for them to give their finances may be. The answer to this important question is found in today's Bible verses. Believers are expected to share their material things with those who instruct them with the word of God.

See the way the Lord presents this truth to us through Apostle Paul here:
1 Corinthians 9:11 (NET) If we sowed spiritual blessings among you, is it too much to reap material things from you?

Many Christians give their money to 'pastors and prophets' who use cunning craftiness and deceitful gimmicks to extract money from them. They do not realize that those who fall for such fall because they are spiritual babies (see 1 Cor 3:1)--carnal believers who can be tossed to and fro by the cunning craftiness of men who deceive (see Ephesians 4:14) because their motive for giving is greed, which these cunning men can exploit.

Go into today knowing that the way to identify spiritually fruitful fields to sow your finances for kingdom advancement is by identifying where you are truly being fed with the word of God unto spiritual growth.

Prayer: Father, help me sow properly and reap bountifully, in Jesus name. Amen.

Be Strong in The Lord

You are invited to the 2019 Streamglobe Conference |  Date: July 19th-20th, 2019 | Venue: Holy Faith Bible Church, Lokoja, Nigeria. | Guest Speaker: Apostle Arome Osayi |

Ephesians 6:10 (KJV)
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

During the Second World War, when Hitler and his army was advancing to take over the world with the might of what Winston Churchill referred to as 'perverted science', Winston Churchill, the then prime minister of Britain, knew that the only way Britain and the rest of the world would overcome Hitler was if they remained strong and stood their ground in spite of all the overwhelming attacks.

Here's an excerpt of Churchill's June 18, 1940 speech to the British house of commons:

"... Hitler knows that he will have to break us in this Island or lose the war. If we can stand up to him, all Europe may be free and the life of the world may move forward into broad, sunlit uplands. But if we fail, then the whole world, including the United States, including all that we have known and cared for, will sink into the abyss of a new Dark Age made more sinister, and perhaps more protracted, by the lights of perverted science.
Let us therefore brace ourselves to our duties, and so bear ourselves that, if the British Empire and its Commonwealth last for a thousand years, men will still say, “This was their finest hour.” "

The rest of the Christian world overcame Hitler and his satanic agenda because they insisted on being strong in spite of it all. The battle looked like a lost course, but one sign that they remained strong was that they never spoke words of discouragement but remained positive and optimistic in spite of contrary outcomes. In the end, God gave them victory.

As a believer in Christ, the devil knows that if he cannot break you, he cannot win the war against you, because the victory that overcomes him is [recieved through] your faith(see 1 John 5:4), and you cannot walk in faith and discouragement at the same time. He knows his time is short so he will do anything to try and get you to the point of breaking in weakness and unbelief, but if you insist on God's report and refuse to break down in discouragement, you will overcome through Christ.

Prayer: Ask the Lord to help you stay strong in Him. Resist every spirit of discouragement and weakness today because you are more than a conqueror.

Do Everything In Love

Download Today's Audio: bit.ly/aud1978

1 Corinthians 16:14 (NET)
Everything you do should be done in love.

When Seyi became a parent,  she understood that love sometimes meant she needed to be hard and tough for the good of her children. She realized that not being tough at times was simply because of self-love. It's easier sometimes to ignore the foolishness in the heart of a child than to engage the rigorous and painstaking work of 'tough love' required to deliver that child from growing into an undisciplined adult.

This understanding now made it easier for her to understand the many tough decisions God had to make as Father of all spirits and God of all flesh. She started understanding why sometimes God would make a severe decision against a certain group of people because He wanted to preserve the rest of the human race from destruction.

After carefully studying the Old Testament,  I have come to the conclusion that everything God does is out of great love. If you see God kill a person or group of people,  it is because of His great love for every other person whose survival would hang in the balance if the iniquity of those people is allowed to spread.
Consider the human race like a human body with a gangrenous limb due to an unhealed wound. A good doctor might have to amputate the gangrenous limb to save the rest of the body from becoming gangrenous and dying. God had to judge some people off the face of the earth because He wanted to preserve the rest of humankind from the level of corruption that would have made it impossible for Christ to come and save us.

We as humans have not been given the awesome responsibility to judge people that way. We are to leave that responsibility to God. We are to however do everything in love. We are to love even our enemies and pray for them because we know God will already judge them in due time(see Matthew 5:43-45).

Go into today remembering that doing everything in love is the hallmark of God's holiness in us. This is the way to unleash the greatest power of the kingdom in your life.

Prayer: Father,  teach me to do all things in love and forever give you all glory.
