But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

Greg visited a new Church and was surprised at the manifestation of the Spirit there. One of the many manifestations was him seeing almost everyone speak in tongues. He became particularly overwhelmed when the Pastor said everyone should pray in the Holy Ghost. How could one just begin to pray in tongues on his own? “This can’t be real, no, it can’t be” was his conclusion!

But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive and gave gifts unto men (Ephesians 4:7-8 KJV). See Psalms 68:18 as well.

When Jesus Christ ascended, he received gifts for us. You see, these gifts are not needed in heaven, so, every gift he received was received for us. These gifts were not received only for Pastors or Church ministers, they were received for all believers.


Today's text emphatically states that the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. Note that the phrase ‘every man', means you are included.

You really cannot make profit in the kingdom without the manifestation of the Holy Spirit, and the extent to which these gifts are daily manifested in your life determines how much profit you will make.

Go into today desirous to receive of the Spirit of God and to permit His manifestation through you.

Pray this way: Father, by the manifestation of your Spirit, I will make kingdom profit in Jesus name. Amen.
