John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. [KJV]
As a human being, if you wanted to go and help the ants in their kingdom, in order for you to do so effectively, you may have to become an ant so that the ants would be able to relate with you. Therefore, you may have to find an ant that you will empower to give birth to the ant version of you.
There are a number of religions in this world; many trying to establish contact with God. Christianity is not a religion but a relationship with God. This relationship is made possible by Jesus who is God presented in Human form. In order for God to present Himself in Human form, He had to beget a son born of a virgin. This son is the express image of God Bodily; He radiates the glory of God in the way humans can relate to (see Col 1:15, Heb 1:3).
Jesus did not bring a religion; He brought relationship with God. Jesus introduced God to us as Father; revealing that God is the source and sustainer of all things; both things seen and things unseen. Jesus teaches us to also relate with God as our Father because God cares for us.
Go into today remembering that you are in a family relationship with God. God cares for you more than a mother would care for her child (see Isaiah 49:15).
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank you for this great privilege Jesus has given me to have a relationship with you. I pray you teach and help me understand and enjoy this relationship, in Jesus name. Amen.
