There is a way that seems right to a man but the end thereof
is destruction.
Divine direction is everything when it comes to fulfilling
God's purpose for one's life. Traveling in the wrong direction automatically
will result in not getting to God's desired destination. No matter how fast man
travels in the wrong direction, he cannot arrive at the right destination, so it
is not a question of speed. The time spent in traveling the wrong direction
reduces the time left to travel in the right direction but God's grace is always
sufficient.
For you, your wrong direction could be a relationship that God
has told you to quit, a job you are on that God told you to leave or even a
relationship with a business partner that God has warned you against but the
sentiment of "what would people say?" or "how would he/she feel?" has kept you
in disobedience. Whatever the sentiment or reason may be, is it Good enough to
keep you from attaining God's desired destination for Your Life?
Go into today knowing that God’s plans for you are of Good and
not evil to give you a future and a Hope and also know that you will never be
put to shame by obeying Him. As high as the heavens are above the earth so are
His ways higher (better) than yours for you; so trust God.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, give me the wisdom to walk according to
your will for my life and the grace to overcome every sentimental feeling so I
can do what pleases you. Amen
