1 Jn 4:15

If anyone confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God resides in him and he in God. NET

"Let me confess, I took the money and kept it in my locker". This was what Stacy fearfully said when the principal had threatened to expel the person who stole Danielle's pocket money. They were now going to thoroughly search those who the security camera captured entering the hostel when Danielle’s money was taken.

When a man confesses a thing, he is expressing something that he has experienced or done. Confession is not merely a product of the education of mind, it is a product of experience. When a man confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, he is giving words to an experience of Christ in His heart. You see, the Jews properly understood the phrase "Son of God". John 5:18 tells us that the Jews wanted to kill Jesus because he was claiming equality with God by saying He was the son of God. The only way a physical mortal human being can be expressed as being the incarnate of the immortal, invisible, omnipresent God, is to say he is the Son of God because God by definition is immortal, invisible, omnipresent, etc. (see Luke 1:35 KJV).

This is a test for spirits; It is only the Holy Spirit and those born of Him that can confess that Jesus is the son of God; the Lord (see 1 Jhn 3:2-3).

Go into today knowing that you belong to God because you believe in Christ and have experienced Jesus as Lord. This experience only comes by the Holy Spirit within you. If you have not yet experienced this, kindly take out time and read the content of this link: http://po.st/QJ7qx3

Prayer: Thank you heavenly father for saving me and making me your own. I pray you help me experience more of your presence in my life daily. Amen.
