Psalms 36:9 (KJV)
For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.
Jesus is the fountain of life. He is the source of all life. By Him everything was created. By Him all things hold together. (Col. 1:16-17). He is the invisible force that holds the entire universe together. True life can only be found in Him. This is the abundant life He promised us, God’s kind of life. The only way to have this life is to stay connected to the fountain, Jesus.
He is an ever refreshing source who will keep you refreshed as long as you stay connected to Him. His life in us brightens up our world. You see, dear friend, your light will only make sense in His light. As long as you look up to Him and depend on Him, He will brighten your paths. You won’t walk in darkness. But if He is not the captain of your ship, then you’re headed for disaster.
So, dear friend, if He is not the Lord of your life, turn to Him today. If He is the Lord of your life, hold onto Him and never let go, He is your life.
Always remember this: He made us for Himself and our hearts are restless until they find their rest in Him.
Pray that God will keep you connected to the fountain of life.
