1 Thessalonians 5:24 (KJV)
Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
This is the word of God to someone today. The Lord wants you to remember that He is the one who called you and chose you; you were not the one who chose Him. He wants you to rest in His grace and assurance that He is faithful and He will do it. He will bring you into the fulfillment of His word concerning your life. No word He has spoken concerning you will fall to the ground.
Rest is the posture of heart that can receive the fulfillment of the things spoken by God. That is why we are instructed not to be anxious, but when anxiety tries to fill your heart because of an issue you are facing, pray about it with thanksgiving. Do this until the peace of God guards your heart and you are no more anxious (see Phil 4:6-7). Anxiety is a fruit of unbelief, and unbelief hinders the flow of God’s grace in any life.
Remember that with the patriarchs of old, when God spoke, they believed it not because it made sense to their logical minds, but because God was the one who spoke.
Go into today remembering that He is the Lord God. All power in heaven and on earth still belongs to Him. He is never too late.
Isaiah 34:5: "Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you."
Prayer: thank the Lord for the grace to seek His face. Prophesy into this new month in His name.
