THE WAY HOME

Mat 18:12-14

What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying?

And if he should find it, assuredly, I say to you, he rejoices more over that sheep than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray.

Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish. [NKJV]

The Bible makes us understand that God knows our frame (Ps 103:14); He knows our weaknesses and does not even condemn us when we fall; He expects us to come to Him instead of running away from Him. You don’t run away from water when you are on fire, you run towards water.

God is very interested in the restoration of His children who have gone astray. The devil makes them believe that God is so displeased with them that He does not want them anymore. If you are reading this and you think God is so displeased with you that He does not want you anymore, God wants you to know today that He desires you to come back to your place in Him; He wants you back home more than you want to come back home. Come and Rest in God’s love and receive strength to walk in the fullness of His will.

Go into today Remembering that Jesus shed His blood for your redemption. You don’t again need to do anything in order to receive mercy.

Prayer:

Thank God for His enduring love for you.

Ask the Lord to empower you walk daily in fullness of His will. Amen
