2 Peter 1:4

by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. [NKJV]

A very fearful Hurricane was expected to sweep over the land. Daniel and Carlos knew that this storm was going to totally destroy their city. Everyone was running up and down because the storm was approaching. “Never before have we seen a hurricane so strong” meteorologists said with fear in their voices on TV.

Daniel said “This is our territory, this is where God has planted us. We have more authority over the elements here than anyone else ”. He gathered his friends together and told them to begin to decree that the hurricane must subside. He knew he had that kind of authority and he used it. Seventeen hours later, when the storm arrived their city, it came as a simple thunder storm; nothing was destroyed, no life was lost. International reporters were surprised about what happened because everyone (even in the international community) had prepared for a major disaster.

Sons of God are those that walk the earth with the divine nature. They are gods and are not to be mere men (see Psalm 82:6). They can control the course of events in their territories, they are also meant to execute divine judgment against iniquity and wickedness from the spirit realm.

Go into today remembering that you are a son of God if you live under the Lordship of Christ.

Pray that the Holy Spirit will teach you to walk in the reality of who you really are. Amen.
