Eph 6:12

For WE wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. KJV

After staying in Shanghai for six weeks, Segun was still unable to find a church that he could be committed to. Segun discovered that the spiritual atmosphere there was saturated by demonic activities; the people were open idol worshipers. Segun didn't worry much about this because he was sure that the Lord was the one who planted him in that city, what really worried him was that he was not yet connected to brethren in the city.

He’d learnt that Eph 6:12 says "we wrestle not against flesh and blood" not "you wrestle not against flesh and blood", he understood the power of cooperate warfare and how that with other brethren, he could successfully bring down the demonic dark cloud in the city and usher in God's glorious kingdom. One evening while discussing on the phone, Pastor Felix said “if you can't find a church, create a church", and that was exactly what Segun did. He had some young men who practically waited on him because of their extreme admiration of his profound ICT skills, he went ahead to preach to them. Three of them accepted Christ and he began to schedule Bible studies and prayer sessions with them. This helped them grow in the knowledge of the Lord and also helped him too. Together, they began advancing the agenda of God's kingdom in that territory.

Go into today knowing that Christian fellowship is very important for your spiritual growth. If you cannot find the right fellowship, create one by making disciples of the Lord in 'unfamiliar' places He has planted you. Be assured that He who has sent you will make all resources available for you to do this.

Prayer: Father, please help me to be united with the saints and help us to successfully do your will always. Amen
