UNDERSTANDING THE GRACE OF GOD 2

LISTEN TO AUDIO DEVOTIONAL

Rom 5:1
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
KJV
We need to understand that the law can never justify us, and by the law I do not mean the Jewish law alone but even the gentiles who had no law were a law for themselves, I mean that feeling that your peace with God will now continue to be based on your works and not based on faith in Jesus Christ. You need to remember that your justification is and will always be by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. The only hope you have to live a life that pleases God is Christ in you. The only way you can do this is to walk in the Spirit, in a conscious knowledge of the finished work of Jesus Christ and in the truth that you are cleansed by His precious blood, and you have the Spirit of Christ within you. Remember that all this is by faith in the first place.

Prayer: Dear Lord. I thank you for choosing me and giving me free access to you  anytime. I pray that you cleanse me from anything that makes me think I can do it on my own, or anything that takes my attention away from your grace to the law, give me strength dear lord I pray, in Jesus name. Amen
