Ps 103:2
Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
I have come to observe that it is very easy for us to forget even very important events. The people of Israel who God led out of slavery by great acts of wonders and signs often forgot the benefits of the lord and were prone to grieving the lord.
We are told today to forget not all the benefits of the lord. One of the things testimonies and praise reports will do for you is that it will help you remember the things the lord has done. You may forget the great things God has done or you may forget to remember those things, but it is easier for you sometimes to remember that you testified about that thing that the lord has done for you.
One of the things that remembering His benefits will do for you is that it will empower you in the evil day. When you remember what God has done for you in the past, it gives you strength to know He is going to do something great in the now.
Let us go into today knowing that the lord wants us not to forget His benefits
Prayer: dear heavenly father. I thank you for giving an opportunity to be called your own. I pray that you help me to live in a constant awareness of your benefits in my life. Amen
