MATURITY AND POWER

Luke 8:14
The seeds that fell among the thorns represent those who hear the message, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the cares and riches and pleasures of this life. And so they never grow into maturity.
NLT

It is possible to be a Christian and never grow into maturity.
God’s plan for every child of He’s is that they mature. When a prince matures, that is when his full potential is actualized; this is when he knows how much power he really has.
Many Christians are living in the realm of mercy drops and limited power because they have not matured in their walk with God.  God’s plan is showers of blessings and unlimited power.
We can see here that some of the major hindrances to a Christian’s maturity are cares, riches and pleasures of this life.
When a child of God has the value system and the same world view as an unbeliever, he has the cares of this world, when a child of God puts his personal gain above the agenda of God’s kingdom, he has the hindrance of riches, when a child of God cannot resist fleshly pleasure, he needs help if he must mature.
PRAYER: dear lord God, I thank you for the grace you have given me to fellowship with your word right now. I pray you grant strength to walk into my full potential as your child, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
