When married to the one you love, they become your closest confidant. Marriages suffer as a result of nondisclosure. The effect is greater in places where backward traditions deprive wives of their rightful benefit at the demise of their husbands because they did not know what their husband owned while he was alive. At times, even when they know, many are still deprived because they have no seal or legal authority backing them. Opposed to this, a husband must have a will to settle such mess.
The Bible contains God's will. Jesus Christ (our husband), even before dying on the cross, confided in us on the many mansions belonging to us (John 14:1) and when He resurrected, He left with us a Counselor and Legal Aid forever, whose presence and seal of authority allows us to authenticate as well as access what is rightfully ours.
The problem is not with Christ but in us not faithfully reading thoroughly and knowing what is contained in our inheritance document as well as allowing His Holy Spirit explain to us what exactly our inheritance is. Hence many of us live like poor widows when in fact our Living Husband (Christ) who only left for a while has blessed us with so much abundance till a time when He will return.

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints’
