Psalm 73:26 : “My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever”
Psa 90:1: Our Lord, in all generations you have been our home.

In the first passage, you will notice that God is both our strength and our portion. It is refreshing to know that God is not only interested in strengthening us when we are weak, He is our very home; our rock and firm foundation and our heritage.
Take a minute and imagine having the Almighty as your very home. After a stressful day at work, after getting the dirt on your dress and the dust on your feet, you will agree with me that all that would be on your mind would be “home”, now consider how refreshed you will be if that “home” is Yahweh Himself. Guess what, that is exactly what God desires for you.
Take rest in Him; don’t be weighed down by the troubles and challenges of this life. Determine that you will move into your real home from today; your real home is ELSHADAI. He is waiting.
Home is the place where you find peace and rest after all the stress. In the world you will have troubles but in Christ you will have peace (see John 16:33); all you need is His presence in your life to find true peace and rest for your soul.
Prayer: thank you father for being my resting place. I thank you because in you I find rest for my soul. I pray you give me grace to always dwell in your presence, in Jesus name I pray. Amen
