Psalm 34:19:
Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.
KJV
We are not told here that righteousness will scare trouble away. In fact, it is very clear that the afflictions of the righteous are many. In other words, standing for the Lord in our time will not be easy. But it does not end there, God promises to deliver us out of “ALL” our problems.
Friends, if God said it, then be rest assured that He will do it. He has promised and He will never fail. No matter what you are facing now, remember that the Lord has promised to bring you through. Trust Him, you can bank on His word, don’t give up on Him; He will surely bring you through.
Go into today with an awareness that you are serving a God that can deliver you from all your afflictions.
Prayer: thank you heavenly father for your word of comfort today. I pray for myself and all my brethren who are going through any form of affliction, especially those currently facing Islamic persecution, I pray you show yourself strong on our behalf and comfort us on every side, In Jesus mighty name. Amen
