Proverbs 21:31
The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the Lord.

No matter what situation you go through, God wants you to know that you will have victory because you have chosen to prepare in His presence. Horses are not made ready during the battle, the wise makes His horses ready before the day of battle. One of the major differences between a wise person and a foolish person is preparation. God wants to give you victory in every situation but He wants you to prepare appropriately.
In our further study, we see that what distinguished the foolish virgins from the wise ones was that the wise virgins prepared ahead of time but the foolish did not.
As long as you have right standing with God through Jesus Christ, I want you to know that it is the Father’s pleasure to give you victory in every situation and circumstance. I want to encourage you to prepare for any task you have ahead of you and watch God do the rest.
Prayer: Lord God, thank you for this day and this week, thank you for your willingness to help me. I ask that you give me grace to prepare and pray for every task in Jesus name. Thank you dear lord for the victory, in Jesus name. Amen.
