Psalms 73:26 (KJV)
My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.

The flesh, Jesus says, profits nothing. All over the pages of the Bible, you see statements like 'by [human] strength shall no man prevail' 'not by power (human), not by might (human), but by my Spirit says the Lord'. Isaiah makes us understand that 'Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall (Isaiah 40:30)

Note the use of 'shall' and not 'may'. Human strength must fail, not might fail. It happens even at its peak (youth).

Why does human strength fail?

Ephesians 6:12 gives us a clue: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

The Bible makes us understand that the physical world is created from the Spiritual world (see Heb 11:3). We can also observe this truth through a careful and diligent observation of life.

It makes sense that if your struggle is not against Flesh and Blood, you cannot withstand a spirit with mortal Strength. Observe that Goliath started by cursing David in the name of his gods (1 Sam 17:43), and David responded by coming against him in the name of THE LORD. Observe that Balak first had to pay Balaam to curse Israel before thinking of waging any form of warfare. Observe that David always won his battles because he was a spiritual man. All over the Bible, we see examples like these.

You cannot use human strength and wisdom to win a battle that is spiritually orchestrated.

Go into today remembering to take advantage of God's strength in every battle. You are always a conqueror in Christ.
