I find it really unexpected to be told by the lord of all creation and the most powerful that there are sometimes that I would have to wait patiently for Him. I have always known God to be fast in doing His things, He created the whole earth and probably the whole physical universe in seven days, He could have even done it in one day.
One of the things I have realized in waiting is that it is usually the time one learns some of the most valuable lessons from life. Many times that God wants you to wait before receiving what you are expecting, it is because there are important lessons that you may not be able to learn otherwise. There are certain things that God cannot do for you until you know certain things. God will only give you things and resources He has prepared you for. Sometimes the waiting period is for you to learn how to utilize and maximize the blessing He is leading you into.
Let’s go into the day with the knowledge that God is aware of where we are and where we need to be, that He is never late but always a present help in time of need.
Prayer: Dear heavenly father, I thank you for your love and your plan for me. I pray you give me the grace to wait and to learn the lessons I need to learn .I pray you help me be flexible for you to prepare for the next phase of my life, in Jesus name I Pray. Amen
