Colossians 3:3-4 (NET)
For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ (who is your life) appears, then you too will be revealed in glory with him.

Gbenga and his wife decided to travel to their village for Christmas, and they had told no one about this yet. A certain prophetess in their neighborhood came to visit them early in the morning with an urgent message ‘from the Lord’. She told Gbenga by word of knowledge that he wanted to travel in seven days’ time. She also told him that the witches in his village had a meeting and decided that they would kill him on his way to the village this time. She said that he would die in a car crash if he traveled as he had planned.

Dr. Gbenga listened to her carefully and thanked her for the message. Seven days later, he and his wife were packed and ready to go on their journey to the village. The prophetess came again to visit that same morning. She was shocked to see them packed to travel. She said ‘Doctor, ah... You want to travel? Remember what I told you. You will die if you travel o'.

Dr. Gbenga replied: ma'am, I am already dead. I died the day Christ became my lord. The life that I now have cannot be taken by witches. It is hidden with Christ in God.
Gbenga could say this because he knew His life was now under the Lordship (authority) of Christ. He had talked to the Lord about the journey and knew he was going to arrive safely.

Gbenga traveled and returned back safely. He even bought yams for the prophetess on his way back. His journey was very fruitful. He won several souls to the Lord during the village Christmas party.

Go into today knowing that if Jesus is now your Lord, the life that you now live is hidden withChrist in God.
