John 7:38-39 (KJV)
He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.


Cynthia asked the Lord to come and fulfill His word and make rivers of living water flow from within her. Immediately she prayed this prayer she knew she needed to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

The day she received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, her pastor laid hands on her and she felt the presence of the Holy Spirit like never before. She saw that she started saying things that were strange to her-she started speaking in tongues.

After this experience, she knew she now had the river of living water within her. She knew she too could now transmit the power of the Holy Ghost the way her pastor did when she received the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

Before this experience, she had the Holy Ghost as the power of God moving her to do the will of God. He was not personal enough to influence her vocal chords and pray for her using her tongue. She had now received Him as a personal friend, comforter, counselor, etc. He was now living within her. This was not possible for people before the day of Pentecost when the Holy Ghost was given to the Church.

Go into today remembering that the secret to letting the river of living water flow from within you is to be baptized in the Holy Spirit and walk in the Spirit.

Prayer: Lord, help me always walk in the Spirit and bring glory to your Holy name. Amen.
