So Jesus answered and said to them, "Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' it will be done.
Felix could pray the prayer of faith because he lived by faith.
When he just got into the university, he lost his dad, and his mom did not have a job. He had already packed his things and was ready to leave campus when he got a phone call from a prophet who said the Lord wants him to stay in school. He knew that the word from the prophet was accurate because he had earlier seen a vision of himself graduating. As Felix obeyed and stayed in school, the only guarantee for his sustenance on campus was the word he received. Three years passed and Felix had lived to discover that God's word is more than sufficient to sustain anyone. He had learned to live by faith, to do what God says (whether or not it makes sense to his mind). This was why his prayer of faith could cure Daniel of Leukemia.
What our Lord says in today's Bible verse should be our experience, but the problem many of us have is getting to the point where our faith is without doubt.
Just as with physical things, with spiritual things, practice makes perfect. A weight lifter does not begin to lift 50kg the first day. He begins with smaller weights and practices regularly until he gets to the point where he can easily carry heavier ones.
Go into today knowing that God sometimes allows us to go through processes that would strengthen our faith and remove from us every doubt concerning His absolute power.
