Matt 5:3 [NKJV]
3 "Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

For the first time in his life, Dare understood what it meant to know Jesus. Jesus was no more just a religious figure he heard about in Bible stories; Jesus was now a real, living person to him.

For the first time in his life, when he prayed, he was talking to a person he knew and not just to a deity that might or might not hear him. As Dare grew in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus, he grew in grace and spiritual power. He was no more afraid of the unknown. This is what happens to a person when he becomes born again.

Being born again is the re-birth of your spirit that makes you able to perceive the realm of God -God becomes real to you (see John 3:3). New-birth cannot happen to a person who does not see the need for it and want it (the poor in spirit).

When you become born again, it means Jesus is now your savior and Lord. You see, he cannot fill your heart if you do not agree and accept (confess) that He is Lord. He is your Lord, because you now know Him and are living to please Him as the owner and controller of your life. This means your life is no more your own, you have been bought with a price; you now have a Lord who rules over your life. Those who humbly let this happen to them are the ones who inherit the kingdom of heaven.

Go into today confessing that you will inherit the kingdom of heaven because Jesus is your Lord.

Prayer: Thank God for making it possible for you to inherit His kingdom.
