Philippians 4:19 [KJV]
“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
There is nothing as urgent and necessary than getting yourself back into God’s word. God’s word is the basis for God’s provision for His people. God has supplied all your needs, all you need is to know how to access those provisions. (Ephesians 1:3)
2 Corinthians 9:8 “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.” God’s grace has to be appropriated. If you read 2 Peter 1:2-4, you will notice that God’s provision covers every area of need. The provision has already been made and the only channel of supply is the Lord Jesus Christ. Every provision of God’s grace comes through Jesus Christ. The means of the supply is the promises of God’s word.
Dear friend, if you are living in lack or defeat, it’s either you have not discovered or appropriated the promises of God’s word. All the provision is in God’s promises, all we need to do is to appropriate it. In the words of Derek Prince “under the old covenant God led His people under Joshua to the Promised Land; under the new covenant, God is leading His people under Jesus to a land of promises.”
