John 14:26
But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. [NIV]

Gloria was doing business with some people, but she noticed that there was a particular man her spirit wasn’t comfortable with. One day, he informed her of an investment opportunity that would further enlarge her business. But she just wasn’t comfortable. She decided to pray about it before committing her funds to the investment, it was a lot of money. As she prayed, it became clear to her that she shouldn’t invest, even though it was a great opportunity that everyone was jumping at.
Everyone who made that investment lost their money. It so happened that this man who was a trusted supplier turned out to be a fraud.

Because of the Holy Spirit, Christians are never to be disadvantaged in life.

As a child of God, if you allow your heart to be led by the Holy Spirit, you will never make certain mistakes. The Holy Spirit will guide you from such because He is our counselor.

The problem is that many Christians are not calm enough to sense the Holy Spirit’s leading. Another problem is that their consciences with which they get signals from their spirits have been seared with hot iron. This means because they have continued to violate their consciences through sin, it has become deadened and no longer pricks them when they are doing something wrong. You see, the sensitive part of your heart (containing the conscience) is the part that also gets accurate signals from the Spirit.

Go into today deciding to always be meek in your dealing with the Lord. Avoid doing things that violate your conscience.

Prayer: Ask the Lord to teach you to be led by His Spirit.

YBP: Jeremiah 37-41- this plan is continuous. You can start today and read the Bible in one year.
