John 14:17
the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. [NKJV]

The simple fact that you believe in Jesus is proof that the Holy Spirit dwells with you.

What really makes the difference between the Christian and the moral unbeliever is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the one that makes us Christians. He is the administrator of the kingdom of God in our lives. This means He is the one who supplies grace to our spirits and connection with the realities of heaven.

We are of God and we have overcome the dark powers of this world, because greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world (see 1 John 4:4). The only hope we have against Satan and his whiles in this world is the Holy Spirit. He is the one who helps us overcome the devil and all his tricks. The reason is because He is the one who created the devil. He is so much greater and wiser than Satan and his demons.

Many Christians don’t enjoy the full benefits of having the Holy Spirit because they don’t understand the extent of His power in their lives. They magnify their problems and fears and not the Lord in their lives.

As you go into today, remember that God wants you to be filled with the Spirit more than you want to be filled with the Spirit. It is His good pleasure to give you the kingdom (see Luke 12:32).

Prayer: Ask your heavenly father to fill you with the Holy spirit (see Luke 11:12-13). If you are not yet truly born again, ask the Lord to forgive you and come into your heart. You can go to this webpage to see more about becoming born again and growing:
