IT IS BY GRACE: OVERCOMING STRONGHOLDS 1

There was a time Folu was very sick, and it appeared he was going to die. Ola was with him all through that period. He prayed for Him but also perceived that Folu trusted in the doctor’s skill more than he trusted in the Lord’s divine healing power. This thought pattern was a strong hold that had hindered Folu from accessing God’s grace for divine health and healing all his life. Unlike Ola who was never sick and never even had to take drugs, Folu spent a lot of money and time on sickness and disease. He did not enjoy God’s grace for divine health because there was a strong hold in his mind.

There is a strong hold hindering many Christians from enjoying God’s grace for divine health and healing. The devil builds this strong hold by showing them examples of people who remained sick or died, despite the fact that they claimed to have faith for divine healing. They forget that many people too have died despite the fact that they went to the hospital, and many others died particularly because they went to the hospital.

I am not in any way demonizing medical healthcare and healing, what I am saying is that God’s healing power is real. He gives supernatural health and healing that human wisdom cannot explain.

Divine health should not be scarce among God’s Children. Healing is the Children’s bread (see Mat 15:22-29, Mark 16:18).

Go into today knowing that grace for divine health is for you. The salvation package also includes your health and healing (see 1 Pet 2:24).

Prayer: Lord, please cast down every stronghold in my life. Amen.
