1 Corinthians 13:13: Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love. [NLT]

In the beginning before God made man, He made everything man would possibly need. Yet when Adam came he felt lonely. There were beautiful trees in the garden; very friendly animals were around, but none could satisfy Adam's deepest need. So God made another human. Today we shall learn that God spreads His love from one human to another.

Only human beings were created with the capacity to appreciate the love of God. So, aside receiving love from God's Spirit as we discussed in our previous study, people can also receive true love from other people who have God's love in their hearts. Such people are compelled to spread the love of God to those who are yet to receive (2 Cor 5:14). Compassion is when we are compelled by love. No word can describe the fulfillment we get when we spread the love of God to others.

The Lord Jesus Christ told us that all men will be judged by their acts of love to others (see Mat 25:31-46). To whom much is given, much is expected. So if we received the love of God, more is expected of us. 1Jo 4:11 (KJV) says 'Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another '

Go into today with the love of God in your heart. Show to others through your acts that God loves them too.

Prayer: Father God, thank You for Your love in my heart. Help me spread Your love to others. In Jesus' name. Amen.
