Phi 4:7: And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
(KJV)

There is so much trouble in life. In the words of Job 'Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble'. (Job 14:1). In other words, no matter how long a man lives, his life is more prone to tribulations. Our Lord Jesus did not mince words either. He said '...In the world ye shall have tribulation... (John 16:33). Why is life so full of trouble? Very simple- Adam the first man sinned against God and brought this order of struggle into man's world. What then is the way out?

Jesus, the last Adam is the way out. Jesus has brought to man an order of peace, even more real than the struggle the first Adam unleashed on the earth. His coming to the earth was announced by the angels declaring in Luk 2:14 'Glory to God in the highest, and on earth PEACE, good will toward men'. Jesus Himself declared that His mission was to bring peace- a unique kind of peace. In Jn 14:27 He said 'Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid’. Paul further described this order of peace in our main text as 'beyond all understanding'.
Friends, there is a whole new realm of existence when a man is in Christ Jesus. Not that the whole world stops experiencing trouble, but your own heart starts experiencing amazing peace.

Go into today, accepting the peace that Christ gives. Let His peace guard and guide you through each day.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, let me know you afresh as the Prince of Peace. Let Your peace permeate my heart always. Amen.
