MISSION ON YOUR KNEES

2 Thes 3:1

Finally, dear brothers, as I come to the end of this letter, I ask you to pray for us. Pray first that the Lord’s message will spread rapidly and triumph wherever it goes, winning converts everywhere as it did when it came to you.

NLT

Sometimes ago, a young warrior left home for battle with the best troop and great weapons but he could not win the battle but for an old man seated at home.

“As long as Moses held up the staff in his hand, the Israelites had the advantage. But whenever he dropped his hand, the Amalekites gained the advantage. 12 Moses’ arms soon became so tired he could no longer hold them up. So Aaron and Hur found a stone for him to sit on. Then they stood on each side of Moses, holding up his hands. So his hands held steady until sunset" Exo17:11-13. NLT

You may not be able to go for battle, but you can help lift up God's sword; you can pray and win the battle on your knees.

Some persons have sacrificed their lives for the gospel; they have left careers, homes, pleasures to take the gospel to others. If you're not one of them, your part is to pray for them.

Go into today determined to schedule time to pray for missions, missionaries, and for your pastors on a regular basis. Note that, “The one who plants and the one who waters work together with the same purpose. And both will be rewarded for their own hard work". 1 Cor 3:8 NLT

PRAYER: Thank God for making you his son.

Pray for the missionaries, pastors, evangelist that you can remember; Pray that God will strengthen them.

Pray that God's word will spread rapidly and triumph wherever it goes.
