Heb 2: 10

God did the right thing when he made Jesus perfect by suffering, as Jesus led many of God's children to be saved and to share in his glory. CEV

Great Patriarchs of our Faith walked the path of service with patience and diligence and in the process of time got to the topmost top in their different generations and field of endeavors. Not with the kind of ‘breakthrough money’ or ‘urgent global announcement’ mentality our youths have today. A sufficing example will be Joseph (see Ps 105:17, Gen 37-41).

Compensations in all forms are undeniable returns of service but we must not be too fast to factor in the process, training and testing that is always associated with the progress and reward ladder.

Jesus had a great assignment but he had to go through this process before he could fully attain that office as our Lord. He already had the divine nature but he needed to learn to become sympathetic with sinners and so had to suffer temptation at all points. So we might have all the gifts and skills, but only through the process of faithful service and fine-tuning would we get to our peak.

Go into today, knowing that the reality of your vision and purpose is the sum of all the work, service, trainings of your everyday, so rejoice in the process.

PRAYER: Lord, help me not to be too hasty to the top; teach me the law of process in the fulfillment of my destiny, in Jesus name I pray. Amen
