TRUE RIGHTEOUSNESS 2

LISTEN TO AUDIO VERSION

Rom 4:14-15

14 For if those who live by law are heirs, faith has no value and the promise is worthless, 15 because law brings wrath. And where there is no law there is no transgression.

Transgression is an act of disobedience against the law of God that has been received as a code for life. When a man consciously or effectively transgresses, it means that man does something wrong despite His knowledge of the law of God not to do so.

Sin exists and existed outside the law given by Moses, Romans 2:13-15 makes that very clear. Sin is not just a transgression of the laws given by Moses, it is a transgression of the law of life, and this law on the other hand has been written on the heart of all humankind. Sin in a man is when He decides to choose darkness rather than light, when he decides to do the wrong rather than the right, when He fails to act righteously and acts wickedly regardless of His knowledge of the written laws of God.

All the law tried but failed to produce in us was righteousness, what faith in Christ Jesus will produce in you is righteousness which gives you right standing before God to receive His grace to live a blessed life and express His nature.

Go into today determined to live a life that is defined by faith in Christ Jesus. Have a blessed day in Jesus name.

Prayer: Thank you lord for the access I have to your throne by faith in Christ; my debt was paid in full. I pray that you fill my life with you r grace that I may live a blessed life and express you accurately on the earth. I pray this in Jesus mighty name.
