8 My advice is wholesome.
There is nothing devious or crooked in it.

I have seen a lot of people claim to be wise when they want to do something shady or tricky. Many people claim to be wise when they cheat or cleverly take what is not theirs.
When a man acts in ways that are devious and crooked, he not being wise but being foolish. The devil who is the deceiver has deceived the world into thinking foolishness is wisdom. God wants His children to know that the true wisdom that comes from Him is wholesome and truthful; there should be nothing devious and crooked about your ways when you are walking in wisdom.
God wants every one of us to walk in wisdom. This kind of wisdom is the type that even astonishes the kingdom of darkness. God’s wisdom will empower you to always be steps ahead of your enemies. You will be literally invincible before them.
Go into today knowing that God’s wisdom within you does not need trickery and crookedness to get ahead. Walk in God’s wisdom as administered by the Holy Ghost.
Prayer: dear lord God, I thank you for your wisdom that you have given me. I pray that you help me walk in more wisdom day by day in Jesus name. Amen
