Ps 51:1-3
Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.

There are certain times that this prayer becomes a necessity for a Christian.
In times when there is an overpowering and subduing in a transgression, in times when there is a true conviction there the mark has been willfully missed; in times of willful disobedience, this cry comes out of the heart of a true son in God’s kingdom.
It is better to fall into the hands of the lord than the hands of His enemies and yours.
For we know that it is only by and through God’s mercy that we survive.
We are empty before Him and can only be filled because of His everlasting mercies.
The mercy of the lord reminds us there is room for any sinner who wants to repent and forsake his sin…there is room at the cross for me.
Prayer: Dear Heavenly father, thank you for your loving kindness and tender mercies. I pray that you show me your unfailing love and fill me with your nature. In Jesus Holy name I pray. Amen
