Prov 10:22

The blessing of the Lord makes one rich,

And He adds no sorrow with it.

The story is told of a man who went to the occult realm to get wealth, he was really rich, but he never had peace because he was given a condition that in order to stay rich, he must sacrifice the life of someone close to him periodically. He was hunted by ghosts in his dreams, he was a troubled man totally void of peace…

There are several spirits other than God that can bless; these spirits are evil spirits and this means they are fundamentally evil, so when such spirits bless people, they unfailingly add sorrow with their blessing.

People who join cults in order to stay on top in their careers, in entertainment or any other endeavor of life are also in this category of those who are blessed with sorrows added. The sorrow added will eventually make the blessing a curse.

The Spirit of the lord is the only Spirit who blesses and adds no sorrow; He is the original blessing giver.

If you are a child of God, you need to know that you are a recipient of the blessing of the Lord. One thing about blessing is that it is a spiritual thing; the evidences are worked out physically when the enabling physical things are done. For example, if you have a specific blessing to be a very successful business man because that is your destiny in God, and then you never venture into any business, you may never know that you have been blessed?

Go into today knowing that God has blessed you with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places. You can plug into any one you want in earthly places.

Prayer: Dear heavenly father. I thank you for blessing me with all blessings. I thank you that I can be whatever you say I can be. I commit my life unto your hands and I pray you keep me and lead me into all truth. That I will walk in all your plan for my life. I pray all this in Jesus’ Holy name. Amen
