I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.

Lucy the sheep strayed far away from the ranch in search for food. she looked all over the place and could not find her way back, she was hungry, weak and very miserable. She was lost indeed…
We are sheep in the pasture of our lord, and if one sheep strays away, just like Lucy, our lord knows how horrible it will be for him or her. Our lord is so interested in the repentance of a sinner that all of heaven rejoices with Him when one sinner repents.
Anyone who is not saved is not safe because out there is the roaring lion (the devil) seeking who to devour. There are many people in this world who are not saved, there are some of them where you work, school or live. God wants you to be the one through whom salvation will come to those. I don’t know about you but I really want great joy once more in the whole of heaven because I led a soul to repentance.
Go into today with a determination to bring joy to the heart of your heavenly father who loves you so much; share the gospel with someone; be a witness and let their interaction with you be like an interaction with Christ.
Prayer: father in heaven, I thank you for making me a sheep in your pasture. I thank you that I will not stray away from your watch. I pray that starting from this day, you use more in bring lost sheep to the fold, in Jesus name, Amen
