Rom
1:3-5
The Good News is about his Son, Jesus. In his
earthly life he was born into King David's family line, 4 and he was shown to
be the Son of God when he was raised from the dead by the power of the Holy
Spirit. He is Jesus Christ our Lord.

If
you are filled with the Holy Spirit, you will know, one of the signs is that
you realize extra strength to overcome familiar temptations, you can speak in
other tongues, you feel the sweetness of His presence in your spirit etc. at
this point let me point out that the gift of tongues is not always an evidence
of being filled with the Holy Spirit, it is possible to quench the Holy Spirit
and still be able to speak in tongues. One of the reasons for this is that
speaking in tongues is a gift of/from the Holy Spirit and honorable people do
not take back their gifts just because you had a fall out. The only time
certain gifts may be withdrawn is if the recipient does not leave the
fellowship of the Holy Spirit but decides to the leave the kingdom of God all
together. I must also point out at this point that in such very few instances
the devil is usually more than willing to replace those authentic gifts with
His inferior versions that come with baggage’s of sorrow and pain. It is only
the blessings of the lord that makes rich and adds no sorrow.
There
are other ways the Holy makes you know the fullness of His presence. Because
you are an intelligent being, you will know when it happens.
When
the Holy Ghost speaks to you, He speaks to you through your Spirit because He
is dwelling within your Spirit; He becomes one with your Spirit. Your Spirit is
your inner mind and is very different from your mind. Your mind thinks based on
the surrounding circumstances but your Spirit thinks based on other sets of
principles. When you are filled with the Holy Ghost and you have an inward
witness about something, and you know that didn’t come from your mind, it is
the Holy Spirit Speaking to you.
Prayer:
Dear
heavenly father, thank you lord for this day. I pray that your will be done on
earth today. I ask that from this day you give me the grace to know your voice
in my heart, in Jesus mighty name. Amen
