Matt 5:13
"You are the salt of the earth; but if
the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer
good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men.

God’s plan for you from the beginning is
that you be His representative, dispensing His glory wherever you find
yourself, this is why you are referred to in this passage as salt, because like
salt you are expected to permeate wherever He has placed you.
Jesus knows that living the spiritually
productive life is not possible by your strength that is why He sent the Holy
Spirit to come and help you live this life.
You have to be conscious of the Holy
Spirit’s presence within you. Go around with a (conscious) knowledge that your
body is the temple of God and that the Holy Spirit dwells within you. This is
one of the ways you can walk in the Spirit and be salt and light to your
generation.
Prayer: Dear heavenly father, I thank you
for giving me the opportunity to carry your presence everywhere I go. I ask
that you help me walk worthy of the calling to which I have been called and liv
the life that glorifies you, in Jesus name. Amen
