Matt 5:13
"You are the salt of the earth; but if
the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer
good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men.

There is no doubt that salt is distinctly
different in its taste and nature. God made you different and special. If you
are born again then you need to be reminded that you are not of this world and cannot
be like those who are in the world ( ie those who are not yet born again).
You need to understand that just like
salt tastes differently from every other ingredient in a meal, you are
different from those who are not in the kingdom. When salt begins to taste like
the rice it was added to in a pot, that is an indication that that salt has
lost its taste. When there is no difference between the life and conduct of a
professing Christian and other people, it is an indication that he is losing
his taste as salt.
God’s wants you to know today that you
are different and special.
Celebrate it!
Prayer: Father in heaven I thank you for
making me who I am in you. I thank you for the grace to be different and
special. I pray dear lord that I will walk in remembrance of this everyday, in
Jesus mighty name. Amen
