LOOKING UNTO JESUS 2

Heb 12:1-2

Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
NKJV

What are sins that so easily ensnare you: these are outright sins that you have more tendencies to fall into because of your peculiar configuration as a human being. These weaknesses that enhance the tendency to fall into these sins can come as a result of upbringing, heredity, environment, friends, temperament etc.
Most of the time, real Christians don’t fall into all kinds of sin because they have been saved. Most times you have fallen into any temptation it has most likely being into the sin that easily ensnares i.e. If you are a born again child of God.
We are also instructed in our bible text to lay aside every such sin.
The way you can lay aside all such sins is by looking unto Jesus; setting your eyes on the price and following the example of His life.
Prayer: Dear heavenly father, I thank you today for giving the grace to come to your presence, I thank you for your love and mercy. I ask today that you help me identify and get rid of every sin that easily ensnare me, in Jesus name. Amen
